KDL-HX85x not recognizing USB stick

There is a neighbour up the road with this particular model of TV and i'm trying to get his TV to play video from the usb stick. Usually this is a simple process, but his particular model doesn't appear to recognise that the usb stick is plugged in at all.

Is there something specific I need to do to get it to recognize the USB stick, or is there a chance there is a compatability problem going on? The same stick worked fine in the other TV in his house (panasonic).

Hi there

Format the USB Drive using FAT32 File system. Im assuming its formatted as NTFS.
