Can anyone help? I have 40" Bravia but unable to get a picture at all. The flashing red light is flashing a 4 sequence but I cannot find any details on line for this particular sequence, Thanks

Hi there

As you may probably be aware, the 4 blinks (flashing lights) indicate a hardware failure. According to the information that I have for the KDL-40U2000 - 4 blinks = Panel Error.

Considering the age of the TV, its more likely to be economical to purchase a new one than to get this repaired.
