&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;As you may probably be aware, the 4 blinks (flashing lights) indicate a hardware failure.&amp;nbsp; According to the information that I have for the KDL-40U2000 - 4 blinks = Panel Error.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Considering the age of the TV, its more likely to be economical to purchase a new one than to get this repaired.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
