Screen Mirroring Question

I use to have the tv connected via wifi and today I decided to have it on the wired option.

By having a wired connection I have noticed screen mirroring is not working. It use to work perfectly when it was on wifi. Both the wifi and wifi direct options are on under the settings.

Can anyone confirm if I can have screen mirror on whilst have a wired connection.

You will have to reset the connection from the TV from wireless to wired and then pair device to tv

What do you mean by resetting the connection from wireless to wired?

The Tv is already setup is in wired connection. I tried the screen mirror, but the phone is unable to see the TV!

I believe they establish peer-2-peer wifi connection somehow.

I'm using Sony Tablet Z and observed that too.

Are you experiencing ~1 second lag between TV & device? Playing games is really hard due that issue.
