Completely CONFUSED by my new Bravia's lack of 'SMART'ness

Just got the Bravia KDL42W654. All very shiny and nice.

However... where are all the Smart TV apps? I'm in the UK and I have Netflix, youtube.... aaaand a ton of guff that I have no interest in. Where's Lovefilm? Where's BBC iPlayer???? iPlayer must be the bare minimum, surely? Yet, it's nowhere to be found, nor can I find any information on how to get it.

I've done a factory reset a few times... installed latest firmware, but nothing!

Any ideas? I must be missing something simple and obvious, right? Any info very appreciated.

Hi there

Try the following:

Turn TV OFF
Reboot your ISP's router
Turn TV On again
Perform a Refresh Internet Content - [HOME] > Settings > Network
