We would suggest that you ensure that the device is fully up to date with the latest firmware installed.

We have reset factory settings with no improvement. Can anyone tell me what 'firmware' is and how do we update our TV?

Hi there

You have not provided the model of your TV, however most firmware updates can be done via these instrustions below. Firmware is simply the software that the TV needs in-order to operate. Updates are provided for new features or bug fixes basically.

I am also assuming that you have connected your TV up to your home network, and it can access the internet?
