Bravia sync issues

I currently have the strdn 1040 and the

KDL-50W656A tv i have them connected to each other via hdmi 1.4 but when i do a sync it comes up on the tv as there is no devices connected. Has any one had the same issue?

Hi there

Can I assume that you have connected them together using the HDMI1 ARC port on the TV?

It could be a handshake issue: Try turning both TV an DN1040 from the powerpoint on the wall. Leave for 2 mins, switch on again.

Try clicking the "ENABLE" button on the TV, in HOME > EXTERNAL INPUTS > BRAVIA SYNC SETTINGS > BRAVIA SYNC DEVICE LIST

Yeah they are connected via the hdmi 1 arc socket. Sound ill give that a try
