video recorder issues on tablet xperia Z

So last night I was about to use the video recorder feature for a very special Christmas moment with my family, when it was time to start recording and I pressed the record button, an "unknown error" message popped up. I am able to take pictures with no problem, however, I have not been able to find a fix for this issue. Pleaaase help!

Please try this: Main Menu > Settings > Apps > All > Camera > Clear data.
