    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;This happened to my A217M, it was really quiet.... &lt;I&gt;too&lt;/I&gt; quiet &lt;span class="lia-unicode-emoji" title=":winking_face:"&gt;😉&lt;/span&gt; this happens when some large piece of collective dust jams it a bit.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;It was just a matter of fidgeting around with the fan through the vent with a sliver of paper (rotating the fan a bit), then hoovering it a bit, then a bit pressurised air, then just turned it on and pooft! the offending dust came billowing out. Been fine ever since.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;If you hear the fan running very loudly quite often, its a good idea to give it a clean before it ends up jamming or anything...&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Hope that helps&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Dave&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;having so many dam pronblems with this laptop&lt;BR /&gt;even more since the warranties ran out grr!&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;the fan SEEMS to have stopped working...&lt;BR /&gt;i dont know... it may just have gone extremely quiet.. but i doubt it..&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;ok.. erm.. does this mean my laptop is vunreble to explosion? or.. just.. dieing?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;last night i just heard a *conk* noise.. then the fan noise stopped...&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;so.. what should i do.. im pretty scared to be honest..&lt;BR /&gt;ive seen a cpu overheat and its not pretty.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;so.. how do i check if the fan is actualy still running?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;thanks &lt;img class="lia-deferred-image lia-image-emoji" src="https://community.sony.ba/html/@3191CA7235A406D833094BA2DD1CF2FF/images/smilies/011.png" alt=":slight_smile:" title=":slight_smile:" /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Try mobilemeter, from &lt;A href="http://www.geocities.co.jp/SiliconValley-Oakland/8259/" target="_blank"&gt;http://www.geocities.co.jp/SiliconValley-Oakland/8259/&lt;/A&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;This will show you if the tempretures go up, if it goes &amp;gt; 70 turn off.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;If you can, hoover the vents, but make sure the hoover doesn't make contact with the vent, we don't want to cause any short circuiting. (keep it around 20CM away)&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
