I am not sure that this will help though, as I have tried various combinations and have been unable to reproduce the problem that you detail.

I've just purchased a VGN-FE11M. It's very nice, but has a BIG problem to do with the keyboard: for example: let's say your typing the following common sequence of keys:

I N G

The G only appears if you have fully lifted your finger of the I key. If you are a touch typist, you'll use three different fingers for these keys, often you hit the 'G' with your left index finger before your right middle finger has fully left the 'I' key. Consequently, the keyboard DROPS letters all over the place, making my typing much slower and much less accurate.

This is EXTREMELY ANNOYING and would prevent me recommending VAIOs to collegues.

What I'd like to know is:

1. Is this a problem with any other VAIO model?
2. Do other VGN-FE11M users experience this problem?
3. Is there a known fix?

Thanks!

Malcolm Sparks
malcolm@congreve.com

I have the same machine as you - the FE11M and mine has no keyboard problems.

But....have you tried to get an older game to work? Full Spectrum Warrior - Blitzkreig,Panzers 1can't get any to work at all.
