FAN NOISE VGN-A397XP

Hi,
Since the motherboard of my laptop has been replaced by SONY, the fan turns off and on constantly and makes more sound.
The CPU was set on "Performance". With MobileMeter, the frequency was 2GHz, the CPU temp was between 59-61 Celsius and the HDD temp was 36 Celsius.
So I've set the CPU on "Adaptative". The frequency is now 800MHz with picks up to 2GHz, the temp is now 56-60 Celsius, but the HDD temp is now 40-41 Celsius (but less fan noise obviously).
So my question is: is it dangerous for the HDD?
Thanks
