I have a VAIO PCG-GRZ615M which would seem to have a problem of dust inside the vent where the fan is housed, which is causing the laptop get overly warm/hot.
How easy/difficult is it to take the case apart and clean out the dust? Or is it a job for PC World or similar?
If it is easy to do can someone please let me know in detail the way to go about it

Thanks

You can do it with compressed air into the vents, but be careful to leave at least 20cm between the can and the vent so you don't break the fan

If a GRZ is anything like a GRX, remove the speaker grill (one screw located by firewire port) rhen slide it to the left and tilt upwards.

Then remove the one exposed screw for the keyboard and tilt the keyboard forward.

You will probably find a big furball in the CPU heat exchanger which is causing your problem.
