Hopefully this will give me a performance boost after I've formatted and performed a clean install of XP from my retail CD.

I just want to clarify something. After I've installed Windows, do I need do install the Intel INF drivers? Until now, I've always been obtaining the latest from the INF drivers and using these. Or should I use the ones that came on the Sony CD (albeit older)? Or should I not install any and just leave alone what XP has already done?

Many thanks in advance.

Wed, 22 Nov 2006 17:54:45 GMT https://community.sony.ba/t5/pcs-accessories/installed-new-ram-ready-to-format/m-p/130486#M87029 Sebby 2006-11-22T17:54:45Z https://community.sony.ba/t5/pcs-accessories/installed-new-ram-ready-to-format/m-p/130488#M87030

Anyone?

Thu, 23 Nov 2006 07:09:32 GMT https://community.sony.ba/t5/pcs-accessories/installed-new-ram-ready-to-format/m-p/130488#M87030 Sebby 2006-11-23T07:09:32Z https://community.sony.ba/t5/pcs-accessories/installed-new-ram-ready-to-format/m-p/130490#M87031

Sebby,

Try without any for now, then if it's no better try the ones on the CD.

Thu, 23 Nov 2006 11:34:16 GMT https://community.sony.ba/t5/pcs-accessories/installed-new-ram-ready-to-format/m-p/130490#M87031 kee-lo_ 2006-11-23T11:34:16Z https://community.sony.ba/t5/pcs-accessories/installed-new-ram-ready-to-format/m-p/130492#M87032

Thanks; I'll give that a try.

Thu, 23 Nov 2006 17:33:20 GMT https://community.sony.ba/t5/pcs-accessories/installed-new-ram-ready-to-format/m-p/130492#M87032 Sebby 2006-11-23T17:33:20Z
