Hello forum ,

Can u help me, i have a S4M sony laptop that has a 60 gig harddrive. can u tell me if u can upgrade the hard drive and how i can go about doing it.
Is their manual that can tell me about up grading my laptop's hard drive.

Hi spookrider and welcome to Club Vaio.

Your S4M has a standard 2.5 inch SATA hard drive and you should be able to replace it with any SATA HDD which is the standard 100 X 60 X 9.5 mm.

You can find these up to 160 GB - Google for Seagate Momentus SATA, Hitachi Travelstar SATA or Western Digital SATA.

I'm sure I read somewhere that a 350 GB was being released !!

Thanx for your information on the hard-drive that was available, seem to be gong one step forward at long last. Is their any diagram out their that can tell me where the harddrive will be or how to open up too see it....
