I have a Vaio VGN-FE31H and I have a little green LAN square icon in the icon tray (bottom right corner) and it says bluetooth and stuff, but i'm not sure of whether it can connect to my phone? Do i need to buy a bluetooth dongle? What does this icon mean? Very confused!
Cheers!!!

I've just bought thesame notebook. With this little square icon you can switch your internet connection on or off. The FE31H hasn't got the bluetooth hardware, it only has the bluetooth software. It was a bit confusing for me as well, but if you'd like to use bluetooth on your FE31H, you should buy a dongle I think.
A bit strange, yes,... to give the software and not the hardware...
