topic Applications auto-minimise - dual core problem? in PCs & Accessories

I have a VGN-AR11S notebook. I have noticed that some intensive applications, particularly games, minimise without warning and cannot always be recovered. My guess is that this is a problem related to the management of the dual core processor but I can't find any solutions, either here or on the Microsoft knowledge base (Flight Simulator X is badly affected). Can anyone help?

IC
