Laptops a bit slow

well i bought my laptop , in december 2005 , it was a gd deal , but i seem to regret buyin this laptop sometimes , recently its been acting rather slow and well ....dead!! , i was wondering if there was anything that could boost my laptop slightly so it could run the way it did when i first bought it

Though some might suggest running clean-up utilities or defragging the hard drive, I believe only a fresh install will get back the speed originally enjoyed. Upping the RAM would also guarantee a boost.

I agree with you there, 2 years of no reformat makes Windows slow
