i just wanna ask if someone has the same problem with his Vaio!
I have a "Shrill" noise when my Vaio runs!

Could it be the harddisk?
or the Cooler?

its not the normal hdd sound its very shrill and goes on my nervs 😛

should i change my vaio? i have 1 more year guaranty!?!

plz help me

Do your hear this noise when you Vaio is running on battery or AC power?

Hi!

The funny thing is that i just can hear it with "AC power"!
and the most funny thing is that just me an my brothers can hear that or people who are in my age!
My parents cant hear that!
so a service man from sony who will repair it or check this wouldnt hear that!
thats the biggest problem!

so what should i do :-((

Is the sound coming from your vaio or the charger..?

If the sound is coming from your Vaio and you are still within warranty, then I guess you should open a case with Vaio-Link ..

Comes from the Vaio and i will send it in!
i phoned with them etc

Okay its alright now!
It Comes from the Fan i really know that right now!

I phoned the whole day and now i can say.... I WILL NEVER BUY SONY PCS OR NOTEBOOKS AGAIN!

The Vaio link people said i just should send the notebook to a reapait company i never heard before?
Just without the bill without anything!
I Phoned that company and they said that this is wrong they need informations from sony first!
So i called sony again, the gave me some facts!
Called the company they said these arent enough facts -.-

Company said then alright we will call Sony and ask whats up over there!
They said that they dont understand why sony was so unfriendly and why this "<profanity removed by moderator>" ... happened!
The also said they will call me back!

And they did ... i talked with a nice voiced lady from the company and i coul ask all questions about the Guaranty and repair and stuff!
That was the first time someone Helped me....

I say just N1!!!!

And sony could be hapy to have this company as a party reapair company!

I will send my Vaio to the Company and hope my problem get fixed!

I hope your N1 is repaired quickly..

Sony do need to work on their customer relations if they want to stop this from happening..

Yeah and thats the point!
see a company which just repair the notebooks and have nothing to with customizing and stuff helped me and phoned Sony ETC!

i just say Nice Company 😄
