Problem with BD and DVD player

I bought VAIO AR21S mainly for high definition.
When I try to read BD WindDVD EX stop. I upgraded fw to 1.05 and latetest release of intervideo for VAIO.
After several trial also normal DVD are stopping WinDVD.
Now I'm not able to see any kind of movie on my VAIO.
I opened a case on e-support and I called by phone. Nobody replied to me.
Do sony exist any more? I'm shure that is a common problem, why sony is doing nothing?

Hello, I am in that case too.

AR21S upgrades when asked via vaio upadte tool.

Last update was 1.05 firmware for the BD drive. Quality was excellent before, but, since I have updated it, my Bluray discs just don't play smoothly !!!

I will ask to my supplier hotine as soon as i will get back home.

DVD seems to be poor also, but it wasn't before the firmware update.

How can i downgrade it ? The 1.04 was better all the way !

Until now no solution to my problem.

I haven't tested it yet, where can you find BR DVD's.

The DVD player is noisy.
