topic TV Tuner sound problem in PCs & Accessories https://community.sony.ba/t5/pcs-accessories/tv-tuner-sound-problem/m-p/141845#M82250 <HTML><HEAD></HEAD><BODY><P>Hi everyone<BR /><BR />I have a VGN-A417S with a tv tuner built into the docking station.<BR />I am currently working in Russia and want to view Russian tv on the notebook.<BR />This is the first time I have used the tv tuner, so I am not sure if it works OK or not.<BR />When I connect to a tv aerial cable I can get a perfect picture but the sound is drowned out by a high piched squeal.<BR />When changing channels the sound is perfect for a second or two then reverts to the squeal. I can still hear sound under the noise but it is impossible to make it out properly.<BR />I have tried adusting the tuning manually to see if it is slightly off tune but no success.
