    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hi Rob,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Try making a copy of your recovery DVD as occasionally this allow it to work..&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;If this does not work you could try pressing F10 repeatedly when starting up your Vaio, as this should start the recovery process but as you say your recovery partition is corrupted this may not be successful..?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Or failing that you will have to contact &lt;A href="http://www.vaio-link.com/contacts/contacts.asp?l=en&amp;amp;tp=vaio" target="_blank"&gt;vaio-link&lt;/A&gt;  to purchase a new recovery disc set..&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;I know i am new here, but will anyone please help me.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;i have a sony vaio vgn-bx196vp and the rcovery partition has been currupted by a virus and the recovery dvd i made is now damaged. i have no operating system on the laptop and cant do anything with it without some help&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;thanks&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;hi, thanks forreplying. i tried the f10 on startuo, but it didnt work and i also tried copying the dvd. it gets to about 20% and gets errors and wont continue. i might have a go in a different PC as i only have a spare laptop to try it on and laptop dvd writers arnt usually that good for reading data on scratched discs.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;i have already contacted soy who said it wil be £27 ish delivered for the dvd's. so not too bad i suppose.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
