Hey this is my first VAIO and first time on this site so not quiet up to speed on how this all works yet so I have one main question that has been bothering me.
I have my VAIO update turned on automaticly and anytime i double click the VAIO update icon I get this message "Your Model information could not be found on the server. Please try again later. (MessageID=0008)"

I was just wondering if anyone had any idea for me please

Hi topofdarange and welcome to Club Vaio.

Unfortunately this is an old(ish) problem that Sony have promised a fix for - we are still waiting.

If you look at this thread you will see that you are not alone! A workaround seems to work for some members: -

welcome to Club Vaio..

Sony are working on a patch to resolve this issue, hopefully it will be released soon, in the meantime you can check and download updates for your vaio via the Sony support download page, Use the following link then select your model in the drop down list to download the update: Sony Support Downloads

Hey ya thanks for the advice Ive confirmed on my VGN-FZ31M This solution works perfectly
