AR61E Capacity Issue

Hi, Just bought this and transferred all my files from my old PC. Capacity is 175GB and it says my Used space is 118GB. I checked all the folders and together they total 91GB. Most of what I transferred was music and I know that's only about 68GB. I ahve tried everything I know to find where the extra usage is - I know that the recovery partition will have a few GB's but that won't explain the approx. 27GB difference. Any suggestions?

Thanks for this Thalamus. I did the search for Shadow storage it said
Used 24.416GB
Allocated 25.383GB
Maximum 26.287GB
That seems to explain the difference but what exactly is Shadow storage and can you, should you reduce it?

Shadow storage is the space allocated to Vista System Restore..

As to whether you should change this, that would have to be a personal opinion, if you rduced the shadow storage space it would lead to having a reduced number of system restore points available..
