BIOS Upgrade Error, Help Needed Please

Hi, I am running Vista on my VGN-FE41S and have just done a fresh install. But im trying to update my BIOS with this file from the Sony Drivers Page

PHBSYS-01101528-UN.exe

But I get this error message when I run the program...

"Cannot read the system information"

Someone help please...

Hi chris_vaio_uk,

Try to run BIOS update in SAFE MODE and let us know if OK.

No I still get the same error in safe mode.

I have noticed that another window quickly appears and disappears though, and the error message is contained in a window called WBFLASH

any ideas....
