help me my sony vaio ar31s , when starts show a error occurred on the hard disk , someone knows what is the problem?

Hi vitorcoutinho,

Error message appears when booting (blank screen, white policies) or in OS?
What's the exact error message?

If you're running quicktime or itunes, it's one of them.

Apple does an extremely poor job of Windows software. I've had data corruption from quicktime. I won't touch it with a bargepole any more.

Hi victorcoutinho,

What does the error message say?

If it is a RAID error, then this is usually caused by a high data volume transfer – usually iTunes. To fix it: -

1. Install Intel SATA Driver 7.5.0.1017

To stop the error message: -

2. Search all programs -> Intel Matrix Storage Manager
3. Right-click and 'Run as Administrator'
4. In the Intel Matrix Storage Console, choose 'advanced view'.
5. One of your drives ("Port 0" or "Port 1") will show an error.
6. Change its status to 'Normal' (I think you do this by right-clicking on the drive or choosing 'Actions')
