I have a Sony HDV HDR-HC3 HandyCam and Sony Vaio PCG 391M notepad computer which I purchased in order to make Blu-Ray DVDs.

The computer came with Adobe Premier Elements 3.0.2. and Roxio Easy Media Creator 9.1.178.

I "get media" via the Ilink cable and HDV camcorder setting and have edited video with the Adobe program.

However, when I attempted an export to DVD, it won't recognise a Blu-Ray DVD but will export to standard DVD (therefore losing the HD quality) and as a MPEG2-TS to USB.

The dealer stated I had to use the Roxio program to make a Blu-Ray DVD.

However, the Adobe program appears to only save to .prel format and the Roxio appear only to accept .ROXIA , .SONIC or .PXJ formats

A simple step by step guide would be appreciated for what should be a simple matter!
