She has her Windows Sidebar but I have lost mine. When I try to get mine back I get a warning message that only the System Administrator can change these settings. I have a User Account with admistrator permissions, but can not find out how to log in as a System Administrator to try to resove this. Any help ?

I have the same problem and have been unable to find a solution. I took my Vaio to PC world and they said that the new VISTA update is expected to fix the problem but they are not convinced.

I had this problem with my new VAIO. It appears that sony want you to use the bundled google side bar.

follow the guide by Thalamus, it solved it for me so should work for you!
