CONNECT VCR TO PC

Hi - I'd like some help. I'd like to connect my VCR to Sony Vaio laptop, so that I can create dvds from my videos. Two questions - can I do this? And if so, how? Any assistance greatly appreciated.

You need one of these here ...the Pinnacle Studio software needs to be 11 or above to work in Vista so just check on that. Otherwise its just brilliant hardware and software by Avid

Hi,
I used Studio MovieBox Plus without any problem.
You have with it the InstanDVD application which is very practical, since it engraves your new DVD during the capture of your video tape.
