When the power pack is plugged in, and I enable the mic (or mic/line in) from the volume panel, I can hear a high pitched static sound. I use my vaio as a link to an LCD screen and my xbox 360 (with a vga cable) for the sound to go through. I bought a creative soundblaster 5.1 external usb soundcard hoping it would sort the issue out, but again, when the power pack is in and switched on the static sound is also there.<BR />When I turn the powerpack off the noise goes away and all is well. Does anyone have any idea what the problem is?
