FZ11S(UK) HDMI problem

Hi,

I've got an HDMI cable that does sound and vision.

When i plug the HDMI cable from my TV into my laptop it replicates the laptop dektop on the LCD TV screen, and the laptop screen goes blank.

BUT the size of the desktop is not correct on my LCD TV the edges of the desktop are out of picture.

Also the sound does not output out of the TV. The sound is not going through the HDMI cable.

How do i fix this?

What version of the nVidia driver do you have installed for your 8400M GT graphics?

Normally, you would go to the nVidia Control Panel and select TV as the only display. The overscan/underscan option for adjusting the TV image appears as an option under Video and Television.

For the sound, have you switched to Digital Output? Try this: - Control Panel -> Sound -> Click on Digital HDMI/SPDIF Output and select 'Set as Default'.
