Viewing BBC News on Internert

I hope someone can offer advice or help, I can gain access to the BBC news page on internet but I can not open the actual live screen, I get the BBC Logo and then ablank black screen with a whirlig white circle but it does not open the live screen. I am using Vista on a VGN N21M and useing Norton security. Any suggestions are welcome.It worked ok a couple of days ago I have tried a Restore to an earlier date but that does not work. Hi Carl,

What you are describing sounds like the video is being blocked by a firewall or a setting on your computer. It may also be caused by a pop-up blocker.

Hopefully someone will know a simple fix but in the meantime have a look at the BBC's guide to the BBC Embedded Media Player which gives some troubleshooting tips: -

Can you play any other video in a webpage? What about a YouTube video?

Do you get any error messages about FlashPlayer or Java?

Hi Blencogo sorry for delay in replying your last post, I have managed to resolve the issue,The problemwas with a defect on the Netgear Router,very many thanks for your help. Carl
