    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;My laptop, sony VPCZ1 comes with Intel Virtualization Technology (VT) diabled in BIOS&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;However, the Sony manual says enable this for better performance.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Can anyone explain the advanges &amp;amp; dissadvantages?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Does switching this on improve Win7 performance but impact battery life?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Why is the default in BIOS not set to 'on' if this feature improves performance&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;(Ps, I have not installed or have any Virtualisation s/w)&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thanks,&lt;BR /&gt; T&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
