I just got my Vaio today and really can't seem to get the logo light to work...is there something I need to do or should it just come on automatically?

Please help

I'm not familiar with your model but I assume that you are refering to an illuminated logo at the base of the screen?

If so, on a previous model I owned there was an option in Vaio ContolCenter to turn on/off this light.

It's the illuminated logo on the 'lid' of the laptop (the top when it is closed). I've searched control panel and vaio control centre but can't find anything...

I'm sure that there is a software control somewhere but someone with a similar model will need to advise further.

I understand that Support have replied to your direct email along the lines that this logo isn’t supposed to light – it just absorbs ambient light and appears to glow.

Yes, thank you for your help. Feel a bit silly now but from the descriptions online it sounded like it lit up. Oh well, at least I know there's nothing wrong now
