Need to restart?

I have a VGC-RA304, and having a few problems with it when shutting down etc, I am trying to restart on the disc's that you make when you first get the computer (think there is about 7) so i can start afresh with it. I have all the files i want backed up onto disc.
Was looking oon here on the trouble shooting part an it says goto vaio recovery utility and goto recover, but when i click on it i get a message that says the partion on the hard drive has been deleted?
Has anyone got any ideas, whould be very gratefuly recieved

Hi Darren,

Welcome to Club vaio,

Just to be sure the recovery partition has been deleted you could try pressing F10 repeatedly when starting you vaio, this normally would start the recovery process..

If that fails use the disc's you've created and follow this guide ..

If that does not work then you will have to contact Vaio-Link to purchase a new set of recovery DVD's..:smileysad:
