I would be really grateful for someone's help.

I have a Sony Vaio Media Center PC (XL301) and it came installed with Vista as the operating system. I am unable to play anything from sites that require the most up todate flash player; i.e. bbc iplayer, youtube etc

I have googled the probelm and a common solution seemed to be http://www.eggheadcafe.com/tutorials/aspnet/2a257c6e-700c-4c95-94a8-3712c676eb02/flash-fix-for-windows-vi.aspx. I attempted to follow this but it appeared that the two flies were flash9f.ocx and flashutil9f.exe. However I changed the properties as advised and ran the exe but this still hasnt helped.

Can somebody please help

Thanks

Sharon

Try this link which will download the installer. Close all browser windows and then execute the file - restart and hopefully it'll work.
