I was expecting mine to be 2.0 as it was a new model last year but it turned out to be 1.1

Im just happy it has FireWire.

i bought a grand tv usb 2.0 adapter to watch tv on my vaio (pgc-fr315-s)
this should be usb 2.0 compliant. The system resets every time it receives some video signal. On the manual of the device they say that i must see something like USB2.0 Root Hub on the device window in control panel-system hardware devices
This simply does not happen!
Q1: is my vaio really USB 2.0 compliant?
Q2:does exist a program able to detect which kind of USB i have on my computer?
Q3: has anyone mounted successfully a grand tv usb 2.0 device?

(do i really have usb 2.0?)

have got any drivers with that tv box? have you checked the website of the company making your tv box for updates or known problems?
