Use Windows Restore to restore your system to a date prior to using the cleanup program (Assuming you are using XP)

If you aren't using XP then try reinstalling the Sony Shared Libraries and Sony Utilities. These should be on your recovery disks(s) somewhere. You may also find updated versions at www.vaio-link.com

A few things I would do:

1) Install Sony Shared DLLs
2) Reinstall Sony Hotkey Utility
3) Reinstall Sony Notebook Setup.

These should all be on VAIO Link, your recovery CDs, or on the FTP site.
