      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Dont know if this applies or is much help, but with many laptops u are able to unscrew the base or unlock a switch on the base or side of the laptop to thus remove the harddrive from the laptop. Technically you should be able to use any compatible 2.5" hard drive to replace it - not necessarily SONY brand. Hope that helps!!
