The memory stick drive on my K115b is drive E - does it show up in My Computer? If it doesn't try this:

1. Login as an administrator
2. Press Windows + Pause (you may have to press Windows + FN+Insert/Pause or you can right click My Computer on the desktop and then click Properties)
3. Click the hardware tab then click the Device Manager button.
4. Look under PCMCIA and Flash Memory Devices by clicking the little plus next to its icon.
5. Click the Texas Instruments PCI7420 Integrated FlashMedia Controller so it is highlighted.
6. On the toolbar, click the little icon of a computer with a big red X over it (if you hover it says Uninstall). Note this is the Hardware on a K-Series, your VAIO may be a little different but look for the Flash Memory Devices item.
7. Click the icon which has an image of a computer and a magnifying glass (Scan for Hardware Changes).
8. Go back to My Computer and verify if the Memory Stick Drive appears. If not then continue.
9. Go to Vaio-Link and look under the Drivers/Updates Section and enter your serial number(s) (you can find then in Start > All Programs > Sony Notebook Setup > Sony Notebook Setup).
10. Go to the Memory Stick section and check for an update.

Hope this helps!
