I will check my bios after i finish my partitioning.. but first i think i know where is the problem.. its not an INTEL bug.. the bug is somewhere in the software from Sony that provides the ability to change the enchanced speedstep from 1.6ghz to 3.06Ghz (in my case) from the : Performance, Battery Life and Degrade options.. and i think only sony vaio can fix this.. or maybe someone who is a very good programmer and has a good hardware architecture knoledge.. but maybe i am wrong..

i will also try this...SpeedswitchXP its an application that does the same as the Power Management from SONY VAIO with that power savings options .. and i will disable the SONY VAIO POWER SAVINGS and use that one!

But if i will have the same problems that means 100% that is an INTEL BUG.. i will test this as soon as i install my recovery dvd...

So stay tuned and I will post this with an answer and a solution..
I think i am on the right path...

If i will fix this.. please STICH the solution to everyone who needs it!

Thank you

Good Luck.

This BIOS agent (as shown above -"look here") looks pretty smart. I have just used it and will see if it comes up with any recommendations....

I still think it is a BIOS - XP2 related problem. You have exactly the same problems as I had. My problem started when I installed XP SP2, and was fixed when I got a new BIOS.
