PRS-505 not compatible with Windows 8

I have recently purchased a new pc with Windows 8, only to find that my PRS-505 isn't compatible. Can anyone advise me if it is possible to download an appropriate driver so that I can connect it to my pc?

I seem to be having the same problem with Windows 7 Home Premium as I can't load the software from the CD. I have also tried to download from Sony.co.uk but the software is no longer available on this website!! Any assistance would be appreciated.

All I can say, having recently gone to 8 myself, that I'm not surprised you have problems - I don't like it at all, everything seems so much more unwieldy ! But that's probly me .... Mr. TechDunce ........ :smileyblush:
