Does anybody have any suggestions about transferring Mini DV from the above camcorder to a Windows 10 PC, such as a suitable data transfer package that works. And how I connect the camcorder to the PC.

Any help will be much appreciated.

You need an external USB capture card with FireWire Input (FireWire no need Drivers).

The Driver for Windows fir Streaming USB, even if you found it on the Internet, would probably not be suitable for Windows 10.

You then need acquisition software, which I remind you happens in real time, like a recording not a transfer, but today not all programs still acquire from tape.

You can try WinDV.

Honestly no, there is everything on the market but from Brands that I don't know, the only suggestion is to rely on serious Sellers like Amazon and possibly ask or read the Reviews.

Or ask one of your trusted Dealers, if there isn't someone involved in this Discussion who can suggest something based on their own experience.
