Sony FS5 Lens issue

Can anyone help

I own a FS5 and have borrwed a 70-300 (Sel70300G) lens , which I thought would mount direct but after spending some time it appears that the lens ring apears to be to big for the body apature

Any one have any advice or am i mistaken that it should be a straight forward mount ?

Hi @Bo5co-18,

this community normally doesn't offer support for Sony Professional products.

Though from what I can tell, the lens you bought is a so called e-mount lens and the camera has an a-mount.

You need to use an adapter in between to be able to use the lens.
