My DCR-HC51E shows the bottom 1/2cm of the LED screen at the top. Looking through the viewfinder its fine.

When I recorded, the playback again shows the bottom part of the screen at the top.

Anyone able to help?

Hi Drew, Yes it is still happening.

I disconnected the battery for a day, but the result was the same.

LED screen shows the bottom 1/2cm of the image at the top of the screen.

If I play the tape through the camcorder to a TV screen. the image is fine.Cu of LED screenNo tape - camera on

Yes Drew,

Got in touch over the phone and took me through:

Battery disconnect for 30 seconds, then

Factory reset.

Still the same, bottom part of screen at the top.

I tried another Factory reset later myself, with the same result - no change to the problem.
