FDR-AX53 Slow Zoom Control

Hello there!

I would like to achieve very slow & consistent long zooming shots. Since that is quite a random matter with the power zoom lever I'm looking for external remote control. I found the RM-VPR1, but I'm not sure if there is any control over the zoom speed. What do other AX-53 owners use?

I am unable to advise on the RM-VPR1 but the above may help, there is more than one way to skin a cat !

Hi @Jonnie1266,

thanks for trying to help. I know about the WiFi app option mentioned in the link, unfortunately it's is only 1 zoom speed available there which can not be modified.

I want to zoom very slow & consistent, this is difficuld to achieve with the power zoom lever on the camera itself. That's why I want an external controller solution.

You are welcome, and I agree, the zoom can be haphazard at best !
