Play Memories Home Vista Can Not Sign-in, Check for Notifications

Play Memories Home was working on My VAIO laptop until recently.

I now can not sign in, getting a window reporting: Navigation to the Webpage was cancelled

Check for Notification produces a popup window: Unablle to check for notifications.

I have uninstalled and then downloaded and installed the latest version 4.0.02.10030, same problem

I have installed on borrowed Windows 7 Desktop and can Sign-in and Check for Notifications.

Anyone else?

Any ideas on what is going on?
