SD card help Cybershot RX100

Hello

I have the cybershot DSC-RX100 and recently bought a SD card reader for iPhone (lightning cable). When I plug it into my phone all the photos are there, however when I put the memory card back into the camera they aren’t there. I believe the camera isn’t reading the card and is instead saving any photos I take now onto the cameras storage only.

i can’t for the life of me work out how this is happened and how to get the camera to read the memory card. Not worried the cards damaged as the images are recognised on the card / phone set up.

any advice greatly received!

I'd advise you to back up the data on your memory card and reformat it with the camera, then test.
