However have also had a problem when cleaning. I used an online guide and a cleaning kit to clean the camera myself. It was slowy getting cleaner (after using many different products provided in the kit) but I still wasn't happy with the level of cleanliness. I wanted to get rid of the last few spots left. I did a wet swab clean and instead of finally being clear I see there was almost as much debri as when I started. Why is it, after so much cleaning, that the problem is still there? Was that last swab I used contaminated with something? (They come in sealed packets and I don't re-use the swabs).
