Smart Remote Control on NEX-6

I'm trying to set up the Smart Remote Control app on my NEX-6 for use with my iPhone4. My iPhone screen displays the instruction, "Search the shooting device from the network setting of the terminal and set it." Assuming that the "shooting device" is the camera, and the "terminal" is the iPhone, I have tried to follow this instruction by accessing the "Settings" app on my iPhone, but cannot find a "network" setting through which to access the NEX-6.

The NEX-6 is connected to my wi-fi, and displays the message, "Awaiting connection to a smartphone. Running as an access point" together with SSID, password and device name details.

I have IOS6 on the iPhone and OSX10.7.5 on my MacBook.

Can anyone help me with next steps, please?

Thanks for letting everyone know that you have fixed it - hopefully if other people have a similar issue in future they will see the solution that you posted. I have personally lost count of the amount of times I have encountered a similar problem when trying to get my iOS devices to communicate with third-party items but I usually get there in the end!
