HDR AZ1 Battery won't charge

Hi,

I just unboxed my new camera, inserted the battery and connected to the computer; the power/chg lamp blinked a couple of times and nothing else happened. Tried with another computer but still nothing happens.

EDIT: Solved! There were two issues:

1) The battery was inserted inside out, shame on me!

2) The computer usb output may not have enogh current but charging with the ipad charger did the job.

True! Computers usually don't have enough output via USB to charge a camera-battery.
The inside out part could have happened to me to :smileywink:.
