Hi all wondered if anyone can help me?

i have the S5500 blu Ray player and a blu day disc that carries 7.1 and 5.1 sound I inserted doesn’t play. It said audio is not supported? though my Philips 2110 model plays the film fine with no issues.

Have you made sure that the audio format is supported by the system? You can find the supported formats in the table on page 41 in the manual: https://www.sony.co.uk/electronics/support/res/manuals/Z013/Z013179111.PDF
